A joking phrase, that's what started the whole discussion. "Water and wastewater continuing education shouldn't suck influent," said Katelyn. That's when the realization struck as the pandemic roiled on. Nearly four years later, we're flowing toward our goal of bringing the highest possible quality continuing education to our water and wastewater hero(in)es in Texas (and beyond).
KATELYN HEARON
INSTRUCTIONAL LEAD | CO-FOUNDER
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Austin College, Katelyn entered the world of applied environmental science and explored her passion for teaching, laboratory science, and water/wastewater treatment.

Currently, Katelyn serves as the Utilities Manager for The City of Lewisville, Texas, where she manages the water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, plant maintenance division, and utility line maintenance division. A Class A Water and Class A Wastewater license holder, Katelyn is one of an elite cadre of TCEQ instructors to be dubbed AA.
MARK HEARON
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN | CO-FOUNDER
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from The University of Texas at Austin and draws experience from a variety of roles where he's managed the certification and continuing education of OR professionals, tested software for large financial institutions, co-founded H2Online Training, and taught in Texas public schools at the secondary level.

Mark is the instructional designer, technologist, and web developer for H2Online Training. Never without a side project, he continues to seek new business partnerships and improve his skills in automation, programming, and L&D best practices.
