Meet Our Team

Katelyn C. Hearon
Co-founder | Instructional Lead
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Austin College, Katelyn entered the world of applied environmental science and began to explore her passion for environmental stewardship, laboratory science, and water/wastewater treatment.
Currently, Katelyn serves as the Environmental Control Services Manager for The City of Lewisville, Texas where she manages water/wastewater laboratory, pretreatment, stormwater, solid waste, and meters. A Class A Water and Class A Wastewater license holder, Katelyn is one of an elite cadre of TCEQ instructors to be dubbed AA.
When not at work or helping facilitate clients’ training goals, she can be found hiking the highest peaks in the US or traveling by motorcycle.
Mark L. Hearon
Co-founder | Instructional Technologist
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Texas at Austin. A creative and analytical soul by nature, Mark draws experience from a gamut of roles where he's performed for heads of state, taught the best and brightest of Texas' school children, and tested software for large financial institutions.
Currently, Mark serves as the instructional technologist, marketing lead, and web developer for H2Online Training LLC. Never without a side project, he continues to take contract software testing gigs and freelances as a content developer and writer.
Outside of work endeavors, you can find Mark studying languages and riding motorcycles, often blasting from one coffee shop to another.
